Legal music download will not play.

Hello all:

Was wondering if there is anyone out there that can offer me any advise. I
have downloaded some music legally from Wanadoo music club. The problem is
that it will not play let alone burn. When attempting to play the file I get
the error: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not
support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to
compress the file".

I have done the below instructions but still no joy.

Open Media Player
Go to Tools Options File types
Click 'Select All'
Click OK
Then restart your Media Player

The other problem is that my Media player 10 can not see the CD recorder
that I have installed in my computer, so there is no chance of making the CD
anyhow.

Other programs can see & use the recorder with no problems at all so why not
Media Player 10?

This is legal music downloading. This cost money & is all but useless. I see
no future for it if this is what you can expect!

How can I at least play the music that I bought & how on earth am I going to
burn this to CD?
