PCMCIA adapater for xD Memory cards
I want to load the pictures on my xD card to my (old) Compaq 1550 laptop
(133 Mhz, 32 Mb, 1.3 Gb). I could buy the Fuji xD Card reader DPC-AD, but is it going to work? I am using Windows 98 SE. Are there other PCMCIA readers that are better / cheaper? regards, Proet |

Is the reader PCMCIA or USB? Either way it doesn't matter because if you
have a PCMCIA slot on your laptop then it's basically ready to take a PCMCIA card and since your running Win98 SE you most likely have a USB port which will make the reader plug and play (but a CD with the drivers should come with it just in case you need it). If the operating system was not originally win98 on your laptop, first look and see if you have USB ports. "Proet" wrote in message ...
