Default Chaintech

Anyone here have the Chaintech Z150 for the 64. I'm torn between this and
the MSI......I'm leaning towards the Chaintech, but
am unsure of the memory. Chaintech's memory helper link isn't working....I
want to put two sticks of 512 in it. PC3200-3500.
Qualtiy ram : cosair, mushkin, geil, OCZ.....stuff like that. Any help
appreciated.

Tim

All I can say is good luck with memory compatibility and oc'ing it.
Seems a bit hit or miss depending on board and ram. Most reliable
results do seem to be with 2x256 instead of 2x512. 512 sticks are not
fairing well.

I would like to know if 2x512 of PC3700/4000 would be an easy and more
reliable way to go for oc'ing?

I'm not really that concerned with overclocking ( maybe future, but not
now ) I would prefer PC3500, but will
go to 3200 if I have no other choice. Thanks for the reply

With ram prices what they are, I wouldn't use anything slower than PC4000.
Give yourself some room at the top. No way in .... I'd use PC32000 in an
A64 system. Actually I wouldn't even use it in an XP ssytem. Using PC3700
now.

Try KingstonHyper X ram,i have used it the last systems i built and it works
perfectly., In one system i overclocked the PC 3500 - 434 ram to 450 with no
problems-1 gig twin pack. DOUG

Thanks guys...I will go with the faster ram, that not the issue, my main
concern is what 512mb memory modules this mainboard
will agree with, whether it be 3200,3500, 3700, 4000......

Thanks Again
