Philips ToUcam Pro & Win XP
When I bought this camera, I used it under Win 98 SE with no difficulty.
Now I want to install it under XP, and I'm having problems. I downloaded new installation software from Philips that's supposed to do the right things for XP. It hangs on a step called vcheck.exe. I think vcheck is needed to get sound, but, whatever, I can't get past it. I can get a picture with the camera, but no sound. Does anyone know anything about vcheck and a way around the install hang? -- Curtis Croulet Temecula, California 33°27'59"N, 117°05'53"W
