Default i-Techcom.co.uk?

Has anyone else ordered from these guys? I ordered some software from them
last Wednesday. However, I'd not filled in the CVV #, so the order was
cancelled. Early on Thursday evening I emailled them the number, and was
told the order would be progressed, and I should have it within 3 days. Now,
1 week on, I have received nothing, and am starting to get worried.

I've been emailling them every day without any response (except for the
first email in which I sent the CVV number), and the LiveSupport is forever
offline. Calling them is next on the cards I reckon. Any thoughts?

Hi,

I ordered 3 copies of World of Warcraft on the 12th of March. Later
that day my order was moved to 'processing', it is now the 20th and I
still have received nothing. They were able to take the money out of my
account on the 14th quite well but unfortunately seem unable to send me
the goods that I've paid for.
I've tried emailing them to no avail, ringing them only to be left
ringing and ringing or finding a busy tone from where someone else is
probably sharing the same fate.
I've rung my credit card company and they are looking into freezing the
payment but I don't know how successful it will be.

If anyone has had any positive experiences with them I'd love to hear
them, if you want my advice, don't go near them at all.

Ah, I also ordered World of Warcraft because they're the only company that
have it - now I know why. They haven't taken the payment yet, so I'll tell
them to cancel the order and if they try to take payment I'll freeze it.

Better off just pre-ordering from someone like Gameplay, at least you know
it'll come April 8th.

Further development, today I recieved this email...

"Thankyou for your recent order placed through our website.

Due to an overwhelming number of orders we are currently experiencing a
back-log of orders which we are working hard to clear.

Any outstanding orders are being processed as quickly as possible and
additional staff have been bought in to prevent any further delay.

We apologise for any inconvenience this delay has caused and we
appreciate your patience.

Regards

i-Tech Components Sales Team"

Who knows what will happen next? I guess we'll have to wait and see if
I ever get my games.

Yep, I got the same. I have a feeling they might try stalling until 8th
April, when all stores are being restocked.

Hi guys, glad to hear I'm not the only one. Guess what I ordered on
Tuesday 15th March, yep world of warcraft because they were the only
guys to have it.

I've also sent numerous emails and tried to telephone them, again with
no response. I've not even had that email that some of you have
mentioned. I'm going to ring my credit card company up tonight and
tell them to cancel the order, just hope that they haven't taken the
money yet.

One things for sure, I'm never going to order from these guys again.
Can you guys post here if you receive any more news either way,
cheers.

I have had the same experience when ordering WOW from i-techcom, Im not
sure what kind of operation they are pulling. I ordered on the 5th
March noticing they were the only place with it in stock (although at
the time i though it was too good to be true), they took payment on the
8th and still have yet to see what i have paid for. I did manage to
speak to someone at i-techcom, which is a chore in its self as i am
sure they leave the phone off the hook (brill customer service) and
they said it would be here by the 18th - still aint here.
I seriously am thinking of taking some kind of action ie Trading
standards

I do not recommend that anyone uses them there service is poor.

I also purchased 3 games and none of them arrived. The money was taken
from my bank account. I did a little digging into the company and
found out the following.

The company address is a block of flats.

The Telephone system is just 1 line.

The money was taken from a point of sale machine at "The Corner Shop"
in Chatham.

After calling the Corner Shop, they denied all knowledge of the
transaction and said they do not know I-tech nor do they sell on the
internet.

I then spoke to my bank who have advised me to contact the police and
report this as a fraudulent transaction. I can then claim the monies
from switch direct.

I contacted I-tech through there "Contact Us" message board to advise
them that I will be contacting the police and they even ignored this.

I don't think I will ever see these games and maybe my money either.

I got the same msg, i mailed them back with an irate email. I've tried
ringing them for the last couple of days now. 99% of the time it's
engaged, the rare time i do get through it's rings and rings to
timeout.

I rang my bank (barclays) and gave them the information you guys have
posted on this thread, they then told me i need to give it 30 days
before they can do something. They will then give me my money back and
pursue the claim themselves.

I did actually get through to i-techcom twice last week, the first time
was just before i ordered WoW and they said it would get to me within
2-5 days (i ordered it Tuesday 15th March) Then i rang on Thursday to
see where it was and i got through, they then told me i would be
receiving it on this Wednesday; Thursday at the latest.

Maybe they ARE having problems with delivery, but from what you guys
have posted on this thread so far, i'm very dubious. Whatever happens
though, i've still go to wait any way so i've got no choice other than
to wait until the end of this week...
