Default USB 1.1 card for old Laptop and W95?

Windows95b doesn't really support USB at all. It will just about do it, but
very badly.

And please don't cross-post. It's very bad manners.

You may be out of luck. While there are lots of USB PC Cards, they all
require that the laptop support Cardbus, and from your description, it's
possible that yours is old enough that it doesn't have such support.
Without more information on the laptop, I can't be any more specific.

It's a Dell Latitude XPi P133ST if that helps. I know it's probably at
least as old as 96 or 98 (can't remember which without rebooting) because
that's what the BIOS date is.
A further complication is that I've now got both my card slots used.
Unless I can find a "splitter" to get 2 cards in one slot, I'm probably
SOL anyway. BTW, one of them is the PCMCIA card that's on my nifty new
slimline DVD/CDRW So, got over that hurdle. Now I'm hoping to hook
up a digital camera though. AFAIK, there's none that have a serial or
parallel connection. Although, this thing actually has an IR port, so if
there's any that have that, that might be a possibility.
Anybody heard of one?

Does anybody know if there's a USB 1.1 card that'll work in my old
laptop running W95 OSR2? I want to get an external CDRW/DVD player
and USB1.1 is the only protocol I can find a drive for that might work
(no more SCSI2's seem to be getting made and Firewire and USB2 won't
work with W95). I want to keep W95 because it's so slow and low max.
mem that it barely handles that.
