Default "Pro Media" DVD+RW 4X Media? Any experiences?

Just wondering if anyone has tried "Pro Media" DVD+RW 4X Media?
GDQ-47GK-2502? I'm thinking of getting some because they are cheap at
Tiger Direct (cheapest media I can find in Canada) but I'm worried
they are cheap for a reason? Thanks for any info...

I'm also looking to get a new DVD burner and am trying to choose
between:

LG GSA-4082B 8X4X12 DVD+-R/RW/RAM 24X16X32 CDRW OEM W/ SW

LITEON SOHW-812S/B DVD+-RW DUAL 8X4X/8X4X CDRW 40X24X40 INT DRIVE

BENQ DW822A DVD+RW 8X4X12 DVD-RW 4X2X12 CDRW 24X10X40 IDE 8MB

I heard the liteon can be hacked using the 832S firmware to support
Dual layered dvds ... Apparently it also lets you set DVD+R media to
DVD-ROM for better compatability with the hacked firmware..

The lg does not appear to have this ability but supports Ram for what
it is worth... I have an lg cd-rw and it seems to have been good
quality to me anyway. The LG doesn't support the dual layer dvds that
will come out in the future but I wonder how big a deal that really
will be... I imagine the media will be very expensive.

I've heard the quality of BenQ is questionable but apparently they
have been pretty good to address media problems with the drive in
firmware... I also heard this drive will let you burn some 4X media at
8X. It also says a firmware upgrade will be available in the future
for dual layer dvd support..

Anyone have any opinions on these? Media compatability? General
quality, etc? Thanks...
