2 weird problems during boot sequence - help

Cnayou boot into safe mode by chance? If so check the event viewer to see
what it recorded. If administrative tools is not shown, right click on the
task bar, click properties, then advanced and check the box saying display
administrative tools. Also, right click My
Computer/properties/advancecd/startup and recovery and un-check the box that
says automatically reboot, just to prevent windows from hiding the problem
from you. If you can't get to safemode.......

open up the side of that puppy and restart, looking to see if all fans,
particularly the one over your CPU are working. Oh, before you power up make
sure your heat sink is mounted firmly. Next thing to check is the power
supply and the RAM. Being unable re-boot tha tmeans swapping RAM modules.
SOmetimes just physically removing all RAM and expansion cards and
re-seating them fixes a problem, but don't ge tyour hopes up. Take all
non-essential hardware out and re-boot to see if it works, then add one
piece at a time until you have the problem again. comapre the power rating
of your PS with the amount of power your trying to draw from it.
