Default Any gold content in computers?

I wonder if there is some real gold in the pins of the old 486 and the
old pentium CPUs.
It might be better to save the gold before disposing of them, but are
the pins just plated or solid?
Please let us know if anyone has knowledge of this.
Thanks.

Thanks for the interesting web site.
Just wondering if any readers have tried to remove the gold in a 486
CPU (as an example) and what was the weight recovered.
