change of Canon MPC600F print head
I probably have to change the print head of a Canon MPC600F. Is this the
part that you can withdraw when you open the upper part of the printer? Is there anything to take care of besides the change of the head? - Frank |

The only thing you will have to do is run a head alignment after you replace the head. Tony |

But no print, even after several printer head cleaning with the printer commands. Now, I got the advice to reinstall the printer driver. However, after a move I don't find that d.. CD with the driver. There is an update that Canon produced after the difficulties with Win XP 2. Does this update just change the few dlls that have to be changed - so that you need the original drivers - or is it a full-scale driver installation ? On the Canon website you only get the update. Or does someone know how to get the drivers ? Canon will propose to buy a new printer which is not my interest. - Frank |
