Dunno...twice I've walked into the Hull branch with a Belkin ADSL Modem router and walked out with a replacement 5 minutes later. -- Conor "You're not married, you haven't got a girlfriend and you've never seen Star Trek? In article , Adam says... Interesting opinion. Personally, I think only a complete ****wit of a business would make a fuss about a low value item and not only lose a customer FOR EVER but also generate some rather negative internet postings. Do you think they give a flying **** about a punter who comes in once in a blue flood and only spends £10-£50? They should. Because that "punter who comes in once in a blue flood and only spends £10-£50" may have friends or colleagues who wish to spend 10 times that. That "punter who comes in once in a blue flood and only spends £10-£50" might throw such a negative light on things as to preclude those friends / colleagues as potential customers. Because that "punter who comes in once in a blue flood and only spends £10-£50" may later on be in a position to spend £10,000 - £50,000". Because service is service, regardless of the amount being spent. Where do you draw the line? £500? £1000? Odie -- Retrodata www.retrodata.co.uk Globally Local Data Recovery Experts |

says... In article , says... PC world is a perfectly valid place to purchase things when you need them same day. And the business direct service is as cheap and cheerless as most mail order companies. Same Day = urgent need. Business Direct from a company geared toward consumer purchase = one to avoid, IMO You've obviously never had any dealings as a business with them then. -- Conor "You're not married, you haven't got a girlfriend and you've never seen Star Trek? Why the hell anyone would buy a router from PC World Hull when Solwise is only a couple of miles away from it I don't know.
