What power supply do you have? It could be your video card is sucking mor
power when you play games, causing your powersupply to give up and fail... ------ Mark "Bob" wrote in message news:KYGJa.1028289$OV.1123835@rwcrnsc54... i ran the burn in test for about 4 hours and it came back 100% but if i try to play any opengl games suchs as Half life (team fortress classic) i have random reboots i cant figure out what is causing this. You dont say whether you are overclocking or not, if you are try
backing down the speed to standard. If you are overclocking then raising the voltages may help (particulary memory and chipset). More often than the cause of reboots when the system is fully loaded (both the CPU and graphics cards under stress) is the PSU simply can not cope with the sudden change in power requirements (and/or cannot maintain it for long). Try removing (unplugging the power) from unecessary equipment like extra hard drives if possible. If you find the reboots disappear then the problem is the PSU (either its poor quality or simply inadequate). Otherwise memory is he next thing to check, try substituting for others (or running each stick on its own if you have more than 1). If possible try a different brand if you can (borrow a friends if you can).
