p2-99 with PIII450Mhz
"Claude" wrote in message ... Can any body help me in overclocking my Asus P2-99 Mother board. I've got a PIII 450Mhz intel chip on it, I've updated my main board bios to the lastest version wich is version 1012 I don't think this particular m/b allows BIOS manipulation of FSB, but jumper settings do. There's an 8 pin jumper block that allow FSB to be set between 66 and 150 MHz. This also overclocks the AGP/PCI bus, so there are limits. Expect to be able to get 500-525 Mhz or so stably, maybe more if you're lucky. 115FSB will give you 518Mhz and a 40Mhz PCI bus. Try this, and go up or down from there.
