Default Hot swap docking station for a bare 3.5" HD- Does such a thing exist???

Okay, first off, I want to say ~I KNOW~ TV shows create all sorts of things that
look really good, but do not exist. However, I just wanted to toss this out and
see if maybe it ~might~ be real.

Watching Smallville last night, a femme fatalle was working on a desktop
computer (Which had an Apple 21" monitor paired up to a Mini PC tower).
She inserted a bare 3.5" IDE HD into what can best be described as something
similar to a 'single slot toaster' looking docking station. The drive slid down
and clicked into place, and she then accessed it on the computer.

I'm familiar with the HD hot swap docks, where the drive is in a case, and the
case is inserted horizontally, but this thing used a bare IDE drive, and slid
vertically.
I'm pretty sure itwas just a prop, but I just had to ask...

Thanx,
Mike
