Default GA-81DX is AGP 8X Graphics OK

Motherboard is GA-81DX, Intel 845 AGP set.
Manual warns that AGP 4X graphics cards 1.5 volts
are necessary.
Will the later spec AGP 8X graphics cards 0.8 volts
be safe.
Please.
