Default file comversion possible?

I'm not much for downloading, being a classical fan, and didn't do much of
it on my old computer.. However, somebody put up an MP3 of a Breuckner
symphony I wanted to hear and I copied it by right-clicking on the link
and saving...which turned out to be formatted as HTML (It looks like
"machine language" in a web browser). Is there any way to convert this
file back to MP3 so I can listen to it?

I have what came with my new HP a350n as far as MP3 players go
(MusicMatch, Windows Media Player).

You have apparently not downloaded the mp3 - just the associated web page.

If the file appears to be about the right size try just renaming the
file.

If you just want to hear the Bruckner symphony, your best bet is the
public library.

Yea, each movement is 5-8 MB too. I tried opening the source in the
browser to see if I could remove the top of page HTML, but it isn't there,
just all the funny symbols.

Out of luck, I guess.
