Anyone have any idea what other Dell model motherboard with fit a Dimension
8100 case please?

Possibly the Precision 330, another Dell Socket 423 special.
I think that Dell made the transition to more normal (not always completely normal) power supplies even with the late P3 Optiplex models like the GX150...
