BrightStor 11.0 media pooling question

Hi All,

I know this sounds pretty stupid :-)
I am running the 11.0 release of the above and I get stuck in the initial
setup when trying
to figure out a backup strategy. The "media pooling" mechanism obviously
provides for an option
to group tapes logically into container objects - how is this and their
rotating done in best practice ?

I have a DDS4 - changer which gets feed daily with a sixpack of tapes (
+cleaning tape ).
of which exists one for MO til FR. Every 4 weeks a long-term backup is run.

Do I have to issue ONE job per day pointing to the appropiate media pool ?
I have setup the pools, and when the job started, every tape was renamed
using
yesterday's date and the tapes 1 - 5 got reformatted. Nevertheless, it
worked.

What am I doing wrong ?
I am obviously missing a major piece of understanding.....
