How do you disable the feature, I'm getting messages poping up every two

Turn off the service (in control panel, under computer management). Better
yet - that just treats the symptom - install a firewall.

Easy way:

Go to the windows messenger folder (its in c:\programs) and change its name
to messengeroff.

Was able to block the popups in AOL. Thanks for the help anyway.
