If I use word/excel and other "normal" programs I have no problems but when I play DAOC (Dark Age of Camelot) the PC freeze sometimes after 20 second othertimes after 1 hour of play. I've installed the most recend driver from ATI the temperature aren't so high (CPU 65°C). I allready saw in internet that there are lot of people having this problem. I'm experiencing the exact same thing with my All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro and the
following games: - Enter the Matrix - Warcraft III - Elite Force II Demo Everything is going great and it just stops - always in a different spot. The current background sound loop continues, the image freezes, and the computer is dead until I hard reset it. My system: - PC - MSI K7N3 Delta ILSR - AMD 2500+ - 1 GByte RAM 400MHz - 120 GB HD ATA 100 - 80 GB HD ATA 100 - ATI All In Wonder 9600 Pro - WIN XP professional SP2 - DirectX 9.0 - ATI Display Driver version 7.93-030812a1-010883C-ATI |

Hi Exiii
what king of power supply do you have? I have a 250W power supply and lot of people think that is not enough to supply all my hardware, but I think that is some kind of a driver problem or incompatibility problem. I saw some review of my PC and to test t the had a P4 3 Ghz with Geforce FX5900 (more power ungry) running without problem. Lot's of other people have the same problem and I suppose that the have a 300W or 400W power supply. bye Gian Carlo "exiii" ha scritto nel messaggio news:f63mb.15552$e01.29269@attbi_s02... I doubt that it's the power supply, although 250 does seem pretty low. Mine
is 500 Watts. Where else have you been reading about this problem, and is it exclusive to the 9600? |
