Data rate matching for IBM LTO-2
Hi all,
I have a client with an ADIC library that has LTO-2 drives. I don't know how low a data rate the IBM drives can match to. HP has a handy-dandy specs sheet for their drives (imagine that) http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/q.../11739_na.html But I can't find anything similar for the IBM drives. All I can find is marketing fluff saying that it does something like data rate matching. Anyone here know for sure what it can go down to? These are the ones with the FC option. Don't know if that matters.... Thanks, --paul |

For the record, according to ADIC, the data rate matching on the drives goes
down to 10 MB/s on the IBM LTO-2 drives. --paul I have a client with an ADIC library that has LTO-2 drives. I don't know how low a data rate the IBM drives can match to.
