Default Monitor Advice Needed

"Shawn Flanagan" wrote in message ...
Hey guys. I'm about to buy myself a new monitor to upgrade my no name 17
inch CRT. I was going to get a Samsung silver LCD panel but then I've read
that LCDs are not good choices for gaming. I use my PC for other things but
I game with it enough for it to be a concern. I have thought maybe I should
just buy a 21 inch CRT monitor, it would give me a nice increase in screen
size plus would be nice for gaming. But I was looking forward to a nice LCD.
Desk space is not a problem so I'd like to hear some recommendations. I've
also read that the larger screens sometimes flicker if you can't set them
properly. I was looking at a NEC Accusync AS 120 21" which says it's maximum
resoltion is 1600 X 1200 and has a refresh rate at maximum of 76Hz. Would
that be good enough or should I look at something else? Thanks guys.

Have a look at:

Great for gaming. No flicker. Can watch TV on it, though the bezel is
quite wide.

Not seen it personally, but

looks attractive, too.
