Default Asus A8N-E mirror degraded status

Re build the array via the raid option accessible at bootup.
Of course it could mean a hd is failing - use hd manu checking utility
available from their site, or it could also be that your pwr supply is
failing/not upto it.

I built a new machine about a month ago, specs as follows:

Asus A8N-E mainboard (Nforce4)
2GB OCZ PC3200 RAM
AMD 3700+
GT6600
120GB HDD's:
WD 1200JD-22HBB0
&
Maxtor 6Y120M0

Things have been fine until today when I started seeing the Mirror
status as degraded on boot. Everything seems ok, I can get into
Windows (32-bit) just fine and the performance seems ok, but this
can't be good. Both drives show as healthy but the RAID shows as
degraded so what should I do?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.
