FS-720 Cartridge w/o Chip: How does it say "I'm empty"?
Hi,
I wonder why my Kyocera FS-720 tells me the Cartridge is empty, while the cartridge is the chipless type (optionally, you can purchase Cartridges with a chip). It's not really empty, though. The only thing I can imagine is there must be a sensor that would register the position of this little piece of metal foil insede the cartridge (attached to a bigger plastic foil moving with the gears) because I've never seen this freaky foil when refilling a classic cartridge. If it's so, the question would be, which position of the metal foil would signal "full"? Thanks, Carsten |
