Default Sun Microsystems User Research Dec 10-12, 2008

We are looking for participants for two research studies next week.
You *must be located in the US* to participate. Please feel free to
forward this message to others who might be interested. Sun
Microsystems employees and contractors are not eligible. Note that
there are a few studies that we did recently that might make you
ineligible for this one, but please check with us if you want to
participate in this one and we'll let you know.

If you are interested, you will be asked to participate in a 1-hour
interview using an audio and web conferencing service (you need to
have an Internet connection and a separate phone line). Participants
will receive $75 for their feedback.

You may participate in both studies if you qualify.

*Study 1: Wednesday - Thursday (12/10-11)* for SAs, IT staff, systems
engineers, and technical managers who work with STORAGE products.
To qualify, you must be someone who researches, recommends, and/or
supports storage systems (bigger than just storage devices, like
external hard drives).

If you are interested, please reply and let me know:
1. Your current or most recent job: tell us a bit about what you do.
2. Your experience with storage systems.
3. Your experience with Sun Microsystems products if any.
4. A time that would work for you on Wednesday or Thursday (include
your time zone).
5. A phone number where you can be reached for scheduling.

*Study 2: Thursday - Friday (12/11-12)* for SAs, IT staff, technical
managers, systems engineers *and software developers *who are at least
somewhat familiar with Sun Microsystems products*. *

To qualify, you must be at least somewhat familiar with Sun hardware
and/or software products.

If you are interested, please reply and let me know:
1. Your current or most recent job: tell us a bit about what you do.
2. Your experience with Sun Microsystems products.
4. A time that would work for you on Thursday or Friday (include your
time zone).
5. A phone number where you can be reached for scheduling.

Please answer the questions above rather than attaching your resume.

Thank you,
Lyn Bain
