Default Ebuyer faster than a fast thing!

I ordered some stuff from Ebuyer last night about 20:30, I got a mail
back around 22:30 saying it was out of the door and, goodness, there
was an attempt to deliver it at 10:30 this morning!

Fortunately the CityLink depot is on my way home so it's not much of
a hassle to collect it.

dabs set this trend imo. getting stuff shipped immediately is better for
everyone.
the cynic in me says its so you don't get chance to think about it and
cancel the order

Both orders I've made with Dabs, both showing the items as being in stock,
both took absolutely ages to deliver, way past the schedule. One I'd paid
extra for faster delivery.

Amazing how experiences differ.
I ordered an ext HDD on Friday night and received the article on Monday
afternoon.
That is less than 70 hours including a weekend.
No cause for complaint there.

My first experience was four years ago, my second two years ago, and
customer services was annoying at best for me both times. They've really put
me off for life, but since both orders were a while ago they've certainly
had time to pick themselves up. Good to hear they're better!

You're joking aren't you? Still waiting for two HP printer paper trays
ordered in early July. Dabs "customer service" is a nightmare, it's all
via email incompetently handled by an outsourced organisation, they
won't issue a phone number, they take several days to reply to emails,
and even then the reply is formula text cut'n'pasted from a script.

Prior to that I ordered an HP Proliant server which they said was in
stock and charged us for. Four weeks later I asked where it was. They
then admitted they couldn't get stock and it had not been in stock at
the time of purchase (though their salesweasel claimed it was in stock.)
Still waiting for our money back.

I'm responsible for several thousand pound's worth of IT spend a year
(100k last year) but Dabs most certainly will not getting any more
business from me.
