Default Graphics Card In D845GRG

Hi

I currently have the above motherboard running a P4 1.8 with the integrated
graphics chip. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering what sort of add in
graphics card (ATI or NVIDIA) would go well with this system, when I get the
time and money..... The Intel FAQ for the board says "The D845GRG AGP
socket can accept universal AGP cards that comply with the AGP 2.0
specification. The D845GRG can use 1X / 2X / 4X card(s)" Does this mean
that Newer AGPX8 cards such as the GEForce FX series wont work, or will they
run but at the slower speed (4X) ?

Any recommendations ?

cheers

Andrew
