Default help needed with Athlon sys.

hi all
the question is as follows: what motherboard and memory should i pick
if going for Athlon 3000+/3200+ proc. and 512 RAM needed. Its a gaming
system btw. It (mother+mem) should be lower or something like 250-300
$$ canadian without tax.
plz use this site as a price reference: pcvillagecanada.com cuz im
going to buy from them and write the model code and a brand name as
well. OK??
