Default D430 hard drive replacement

Hi folks, I'm looking at replacing a toasted hard drive in a D430. It
is one of those 1.8" PATA/IDE drives with the ZIP (LIF?) socket.
My problem is there must be about six different kinds of ZIF/LIF sockets
out there. SOme of the IBM drives have them on the long edge, while the
Toshibas and Samsungs have them on the short edge. I know I need the
kind on the short edge, but which one?

J

PS, I looked at SSD's but they're a bit pricey at the moment.
