performance question regarding over clocking
Hi,
I am running fedora core 2 on a amd athlon 1.3Ghz with a 266 Mhz fsb (i think) with 512 megs of 333MHz ddr mem with an MSI Jumperless motherboard and 320 watt p/s. I have never over clocked anything before that i could keep stable and i would like to try. Any ideas/hints/clues to over clock this box? (for an over clocking newbie) I guess changing bus speeds and multiplier but i have read in this group that some people also adjust voltages? Lastly does anyone one know of a program like mbm for linux? TIA, Eric |
