Firewire Header Pin Solution !!!!!
"Bob" wrote in message ...
Well, Antec meant well but they are sending out the wrong parts. Today I received my "adapters". They sent me 2 firewire wires and 2 USB wires, each about 24 inches long but they are duplicates of what is already in the case with single plugs. I called John at Antec and he apologized that shipping in sending out the wrong items. He is resending [going down to shipping himself] the correct parts today. He had just received another call, moments before mine, from another person that received more mistakes. Bob I've just gotten off the phone with the good people at Directron, who do have a solution in the form of a PCI card with 2 external ports and an internal 10 pin header. Previously, the card was listed as out of stock, but after checking, I was told they have some, and just ordered a pair. http://www.directron.com/2p1394adp.html That's the link for them. I got 2 day shipping on it, and expect to have them by the 11th of July, so I'll post back and let everyone know how it went. Cheers, Will |
