Default Lexmark 705 paper feed

When I print one page, the software window says two pages needed and then
after completing the printing job continues to feed an empty page. If only
one sheet of paper is in the feed, it will say that my paper feed is empty,
asking for an additional page.

Where have I gone wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hans
