Now that the Core 2 chips are out - any recent roadmaps?
The last Intel roadmap I saw didn't really explain what chips were coming
out - e.g. Core 2 3.2GHz - it was more of just internal code numbers e.g. 610. Has anyone seen a recent roadmap with chip speeds, cache etc? |

Thank you - to be more specific in case I missed it in that article, what
processors speeds can we expect to see by q4 of this year? I doubt that they are going to offer anything faster this year, they will have their hands full ramping production on the parts they have already announced. The server parts, Woodcrest which are the 51xx parts, go up to 3.2GHz. The Conroes and Woodcrest's are closely related so I'm sure will see 3.2GHz Conroes sometime early next year after Intel has their 65nm production process running smoothly. |
