Hell lotta problems!!
Why not let your friend try the computer a couple of day's and maybe
he'll let you try his this will prove a point.. it certainly sounds like voltage fluctuations maybe a UPs will help out here. One thing that you can do is to check on the local electrical supply standard's there might be some minimum and maximum voltage fluctuation allowed by law and if it's being exceeded you may be able to have something done about it. With the fluctuation as it is it will be very difficult to lay blame, you may well get a new mobo or whatever and it'll still be the same - nothing achieved and back to square one so a Ups 'might' be the way to go... if you can try one first so much the better. Voltage fluctuations and voltage spikes will play havoc with digital equipment, they certainly don't help that's for sure. Davy |
