Default Ti 4200 flickers and blacks out only in 3D Apps

Yesterday i played a lot of Homeworld2, when suddenly the Picture
started to flicker and then completly blacks out the App.

Music still running, and the App is reacting on Key input, so i can
leave it. Ending the Application or ALT-Tab switches back to Windows,
where everything seems fine.

First i thought it must be Homworld2 but any Game (no other 3D app)
starts to flicker and blacks out.

is the Ti4200 damaged?
Any ideas?
Since i didnt o/c the System, i dont have an idea what happened.
Strange the Anark-Screensaver is working.

TIA
Cris

What are your DxDiag results? What driver set are you using? What
version of DirectX?

Sounds like just the 3D circuitry in your card burned out, leaving the 2D
working.

Solved it analytical:

Shouting at Monitor and hiiting it with fist:

- No change

Kicking the Case louder shouting

- No change

Reinstaling older nvidia-drivers and dkirextX praising the Lord.

- Still no change, except myself getting very angry and shouting since
mylord oviously didn't want to help.

Checking the Fans in the Box - allrigth

Removing the Card, checking it, hugging it...
Putting it back into the Sys.

BINGO, solved, seems my system losed the AGP cause i transported the Box
to some Langames and heat...

thanks anyway!

Cris
