Compaq Presario 5030

I have a Compaq Presario 5030, in which I have installed Windows XP Pro.
with no problems. What I am having a problem with is locating an update for
the BIOS for this model. I've looked out on the HP website with no success.
Could anyone please help me with this? Does anyone know where I might fine
an update BIOS for this system?

Since there are no BIOS updates listed on the HP/Compaq website for the
5030, you can assume none exist. No drivers are listed for XP, either, only
98 and Me. If the PC is running XP OK, don't worry about updating.

Assuming there isn't a bios update if false. It's just that the unit is old
and Compaq / Hp isn't going to spend time or money on support on XP on an
older machine.

William if you want to be totally sure you can download BIOS AGENT and check
to be sure.

Given that XP is running fine I wouldn't worry about anything though.
