Default How many IDE in Chain

Can I put 3 IDE devices on the secondary IDE connector? Like a DVD player,
a CD burner and a Zip drive. Have never seen a cable to do that.

Thanks

No. Only 2 drives, one master, one slave, per IDE channel. If you need
more, get another controller.

No. Each connector on the motherboard can handle either one or two devices.
No more than 2.

No, each IDE channel controller will only handle up to TWO devices.

No.

You could get an ATA100/133 Controller card or RAID Controller for IDE
devices.
