HP Printer Parts

Should there be any problem locating parts (new or used) for a HP printer? I
have a 952C with a missing backplate.

You'll almost certainly have to order it directly from HP.

"Almost certainly", Sir Dave? Not a chance, I'd say. Resale shops have HP
printers out the back, and the number of used computer stores and computer
recycle centers are numerous in this town. It may take me a short while to
find it, but this printer is used rarely, so there is no problem.
