Should I buy an Alps printer (out of production)?
I have an ALPS. Beautiful prints when new using either dye sub or
micro dry, BUT after only two years of steady use it seems to have worn out it's print head. PEP p.s. It does not make good prints on textured papers. I can get a nice new one for about $400. However, ALps has discontinued their printers. So I am concerned that I might not be able to obtain new ribbons for it for very long. Service and parts might become unavailable soon, also. ANy idea how many months or years longer ribbons will be available for these printers? -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
