Default ECDCreator with new cd-rw drives?

Ok...after checking the
http://rpp.roxio.com/drives/?page=su...d_drives&ltr=L
i saw that i should be ok after all, no matter wich model since
LG seem to need 4.05 as a minimum for compatibility, shown
in the list.

Hi...i went to my local FutureShop here in Montreal
today and Roxio EasyCDCreator is no longer included
with their drives, they said(i was looking for LG). If it's
true, that's sad because i use such drive to especially make
all my backups based on the UDF format done with DirectCD.
They give instead Nero, now. Anyone knows if it's still possible
to buy in Canada a Sony or LG drive with Roxio's software
included? The problem is that my actual version of
ECDC is 5.1(60) and 5.10(115) for DirectCD and there's good
chances that it wil not be compatible with a new drive. TIA
for any comments.

Consider yourself lucky, after using version 6 i went straight to nero
5.5.
what can i say .. Bloated, Buggy, Woeful. I was an adaptec 4 user and
roxio 5 user but now i only use nero.

Version 6 is ok, apart from the DVD builder, I find that crahes, which
is a shame as it could be good.
You are correct about it being bloated, talking about bloated, I
downloaded the new version of Adobe Acrobat reader, now that is bloated.
