Default 520BPS problem

Have recently obtained EMC CLARiiON FC (fibre channel) ST336704FCV
drives that are 520BPS formatted. It will not work on linux or win
unless it is reformatted to 512 BPS.
Is it possible to reformat them to 512BPS ?
I use SCU command utility (OS W2003 server, FC HBA Adaptec

520 bytes per sector is what's used in the AS/400 envionment (now called
iSeries by IBM). Search google groups (groups.google.com) for utilities that
can reconvert these disks. If I remember correctly, not all drives will
collaborate.

Regards,
Alvin.
