what would be a better chip to OC?...is going to be running on a MSI
K8N-Neo2-f with Corsair TwinXPC3200-1024 C2PT..should I save the extra and
stay with the 3500?...or go all out and get a baby FX style chip? Had
thought about the 4000 but the pricing is still up there.

lack of multitasking on my part makes that an expensive chip...I would have
the equivilent of a 3200 at 4000 pricing.

Can't speak for the 3500, but my 3700+ Venice easily overclocks from 2.2 to
2.6 with the retail HS/fan by just clicking "AutoOverclock" on my Asus A8V
Deluxe.

yeah but I've read they overclock very well. I've got 3500+ venice - but
mine does not seem to overclock at all - i've got it in 2500's but it never
is stable enough for games. A8V Deluxe / AGP. Maybe its something I'm doing
wrong, but I've given up - I've tried sysclock to find maximums - can run
its testing all day - but as soon as a game kicks in - problems.
