They have customer reviews on their site. I think your best bet is reading through the archives of this newsgroup. My guess would be that for an older disk cooling is the primary issue. Yeah, for a new disk it is obviously not important. Don't you love babblebot's wisdom. Oops, I meant expertise, of course. Don't get anything without a fan. Arno
