ATIo9xxx.dll: how to extract? [just for 98SE/Me users]
Is there anyway to extract just the ATIo9xxx.dll from ATI's driver packages?
I'd like to compile a library of different ATIo9xxx.dll's for each ATI Catalyst release. Especially since ATI is now leaving 98SE/Me users in the dust. The way I've been doing it now is to replace the ATIo9xxx.dl_ file in the Catalyst 4.3 w/the one I want from a different Catalyst release. It's a PITA but the only way I can do it ATM. This file just handles OpenGL compatibility and can be used separately from the rest of Catalyst driver. As a matter of fact you could have a different ATIo9xxx.dll for every OpenGL game you've got. I got this info from the Rage3d forums. -Bill (remove "botizer" to reply via email) |
