fan for KT7 northbridge
This has worked for me many times and on several boards.
Peel back the label to expose the bearing. Add one drop of oil, place the label back making sure not to get the label oily or it won't stick. Occasionally, buy a can of dust spray and blow the heat sinks (CPU, NorthBridge, Video, power supply) clean, then turn your system back on (because you shut it off to do things like this, right?). I've found that to be good for 5-10 degrees of CPU & system temperature drop. If you really want one, http://www.pricewatch.com/ |
