Default Seek Error Rate - low values?

Hi,

I'm confused about a SMART error from my disk and wondered if anybody
here could clarify it for me? During bootup my bios halts to tell me
I have a smart error, I have to press a button to then continue. I
ran some SMART diagnostic tools ("SiSoftware Sandra" and "HDDHealth")
and one of them told me my "Seek Error Rate" was too low. Should I be
worried? I know I can tell my bios to ignore smart errors but that
seems a little foolish.

It is a new disk so I can send it back, but it is the primary disk on
my home machine, so I'll be out of action for some time until I get a
replacement.

Anybody have some advice for me?

Many thanks

It's a new disk that's clearly broken. What do you do with broken stuff?
