Default Bios updates for GA-8IG1000Pro

I have the subject Gigabyte motherboard. A check of the Gigabyte website
for bios updates reveals that there has not been a bios update for this
board since its original release (bios # F6 dated 30 April 2003).

I note, however, that there is a "version 2" of this board which has had two
bios updates since its release with the latest being bios FE on the 6 Nov
2003. This update included support for the latest Intel CPUs. Does anyone
know if there will be anupdate for the GA-8IG1000Pro (Version 1)?

I have already written to Gigabyte but as yet have not received a reply.

Thanks,
Shane
