LG GSA 4040B DVD Writer and Nero 6.0.0
I'm using Nero 6.0.0 and have purchased a new DVD burner, the LG GSA 4040B
burner. When I'm on the final burning step, Nero recognizes my burner as D: HL-DT-SD DVDRAM GSA-4040B (CD-R/RW). It doesn't recognize the DVD capability of this drive. Yet, the burning software that came with the drive (Gold version 5) works and recognizes the drive as a DVD drive. Any thoughts on how I can get Nero to work with my burner? Thank you

Thank you Step 1 would be to download and install the latest version of Nero 6 from www.nero.com. I don't know how new your drive model is, but the latest version will include support for new drives introduced since Nero 6.0.0 was released. Nero is up to 6.3.0.3
