Is this board a good choice? ASUS Sabertooth ...

This seems like a top board, lots of good options, but
there is a lot of criticism about dead boards out of the
box and lack of helpful/timely support from ASUS.

Anyone used the:
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s
USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
board and liked it?

Do you prefer another board for an 8120 Zambezi?
This is for general use and for editing still images.
That may sound like light usage, but with 2 or 3 images
open or more than one editor going at the same time
it can really bog down my current box. Looking forward
to some multithreaded action and using a large amount
of RAM.
