Default Ebuyer shipments

In the event of nobody being in, does the courier used by Ebuyer always
leave the goods with the neighbours ?

Thanks

Have a look at the previous threads about Ebuyer courier (Citylink), you
are lucky the driver even comes anywhere near your house at all. They
usually phone up, make some excuse about selling you guttering, but if
there is no answer, they don't bother calling at all...

Haunted country lanes with big black dogs and stuff
I am just in from pub so feel free to ridicule or confirm my thoughts on
your handle.

If its your first order from Ebuyer then technically they shouldnt (read the
ebuyer terms or faq, its on there somewhere) after that you can specify the
delivery address, or even alter it on a order by order basis, failing that a
note left on the door should surfice... that is if citylink turn up.

Depends very much on the local branch of the courier, most couriers state in
their T&C's that they will only leave at an alternative address with prior
written instructions but in reality most (including CityLink) will try a
neighbour and the likes of Parcel Force will often hid it 'round the back'
and leave a card saying where it is.

Quite lucky here in that ALL of the couriers are very reliable and helpful -
including those that come in for frequent abuse in other areas - and will
call back if they miss you on the first van or leave with one of the
neighbours.

Ebuyer have allways insisted on an enote/fax to leave/redirect good once
ordered. You can specify an alternative address when ordering after the
first order I believe
